I love all the responses! I haven't had a problem buying anything I want since DH bought a 36' Motorhome when he retired.....and he plays golf twice a week.

In fact, he goes shopping with me. He has a better eye for color than I do.

When my husband asked me this I told him, "How many saws do you have?"

Sideways, I got my "new" Anker at a Goodwill store...guess that one only think Singers deserve high prices! Check the Goodwill stores that offer online auctions, (you can do that with the "search" feature) and then shop at those that don't?

You can always tell them you are building a rainbow and need lots of colors, the black machines are for outlines. Besides machines are like animals, some are mistreated or aged and just need a really good home, and if they are new just like having a new baby, they must be brought home from the "machine hospital" lol. Congrats on your aniv. DH and I will celebrate our 43rd in Aug of this year.

I tell people who ask me "How many more?" that the herd will let me know when I've reached max capacity and so far everyone's still playing nice together.
