Still Stitching Documentary
I heard about this documentary yesterday from one of Bonnie Hunter's Facebook posts.
It's about an hour and a half long and all about collecting, restoring, and the history of vintage sewing machines. This is from the web site's home page :
"Filmmakers Brenda and James Wolfensberger have been traveling through New York, New England, Ohio, Maryland, and Virginia to bring you the first full-length, comprehensive documentary on vintage sewing machines. Enjoy interviews with collectors, mechanics, and restoration enthusiasts such as Scott Kennedy, Renato Pace, Esther Doty, Terry Palardy, Will McCann, Cathy Racine, and Joe Brennan."
You can either watch it online by renting it for $14.00 for 30 days, or buy the DVD for $23.95.
I was so excited when I heard about it, I talked my son into buying the DVD for me for Christmas!

I ordered mine the other day when they weren't done making them yet and just today got a message it was on its way, I think that is what it said.lol Can't wait. It isn't really that expensive and you could let others see it too.

I was about to buy it but What?! $18.00 shipping for mailing a DVD? I know I'm in Canada, but that's still a ridiculous amount for shipping. And I'm not keen on the limited viewing options for streaming option. *sigh*
