Default Stuck Cam upside-down in Sears/Kenmore machine

My mother bought a Sears/Kenmore sewing machine and I accidently stuck a cam in upside-down and now it is stuck. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get it out! I'm feeling pretty lousy about the whole thing.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Could you try a little sewing machine oil on the post where the cam fits on, let it sit to soak in between the post and cam for a few minutes then try to lift it out.

pull the cam release lever, if there is one, (and if you haven't)

I had one stuck and I just unscrewed the top of the post the cam sits on and lifted the cam off. Be careful doing it as some of the parts may come off too. I have a Kenmore 158-1703.
