This is a Pfaff I had previously that was built to be both. Usually referred to as a Convertible cabinet.

Many of my handcranks are in cases with the holes for a treadle belt. Wish I could find a cabinet like yours!

Yes, Steve, I too would love that set up. I think I would then get rid of the Singer treadle (but keep the Pfaff 30 in the cool cabinet) and the other older machines I have accumulated. That is such a neat set up. Why did you get rid of it? Was it not in the right time frame for your collection?

Yep, A little too new, and I needed to make room for the G&B Parlor cabinet that is my profile pic here. I sold/traded it to Cathy (Mizkaki) so I see it now and then and know it is safe and loving hands.

Edit to add: This machine is so"perfect" it seems to have not ever really been used. it is still not "worn in" and a little less smooth than other more well used machines.
