Update on "WORK in PROGRESS"

Well, not much has happened in the way a progress on my project. I am going to name it TAWANDA, after the "battle cry" by Izzy in the movie "Fried Green Tomatos". I've my share of (uh) battle cries if you understand my meaning.
#1 every time I put on a second coat of paint the finish crinkles. I have waited as long as 4days in between coats.
#2. The veneer bubbled and became wavy . I may have to remove it and start over. We will see if I can make it smooth with a little manipulation.
With all that happening I haven't made much progress.
I have kept myself busy, however, nothing seems to get done.

Eek, now I'm afraid to do mine! I found this on another forum, you said you used Rustoleum primer, right? Did you use the self-etching stuff?

The only thing you did wrong was use Rustoleum. But I didn't sandblast, I just sanded everything back down smooth and started over. It was a PITA and I will never, repeat never, use Rustoleum again on anything. Good luck.
