I'm glad you think so. I tend to talk that was as well. Most people don't find me very funny, especially when they're trying to sell me something.

Well it's old. It must be worth MUCHO $$$ I'm sure they're very serious about the price.

In my location, there is a 306K, mocha, which is very dirty and missing the bobbin case. She comes with no accessories except a cabinet. The shop wants $15 for her. I am not giving her a home but did tell the shop owner I'd let others know. The machine came from an estate sale and needs cleaning and oiling quite badly but looks good despite the grime.
If interested, pm me for more information.

OH! I can't believe I missed that. Guess they don't need the machine, only the thread and accessories. Now I'm impressed.

Looks like it comes with a jump rope. Must have used a ladder when they took that 3rd photo.

That is one beautiful machine. If it were mine, there is no way I'd give it up. I don't understand people.

I'd probably keep it also, but for most folks, it is just an impractical piece of furniture that can't be used for anything due to the coffin top.

Not sure I would use olive oil on it either.

I had wondered about the olive oil on the wood because it can become rancid. The Howard's stuff would seem to be a better choice for me.
I also would keep that beautiful sewing machine but then I collect them.

NEVER let a sewing machine know you are in a hurry.

Loved the title too: "I have a sewing machine that is white asking 85 dollars"
So let me get this straight: You lied to me (it's new, well not really)? you don't know what it does? And you don't have it? (I will get it later on) and I'm reasonably sure no one on this continent writes a phone number that way.

Sounds like a heck of a deal. I better jump on this one.

I can't answer one single question you've asked based on what I can decipher of that listing.

Caution- Do not click link if you are pregnant, or have a heart condition.

On the other hand, if you need a good laugh, click away.

These must have been made by the husband of the lady that embroiders on bread. Another example of way too much time to waste and a (probably) beautiful machine destroyed.

    Steve,

That cabinet is gorgeous!! It probably originally held a Singer 66 or 115 (or maybe a 15-30 or 127) . It is a Singer Drawing Room cabinet # 22.
