Maybe I should try to pick this one up for a spare. My main sewing machine is a Pfaff 130.

Dayle; If seller is reasonable, I'd be all over that machine. That is on my wish list/some day list and been haunting CLs to no avail, yet.

His has never been used except for demos. His dad (an OSMG) bought it when he was a singer dealer and it never sold. So it is in mint condition. I guess that is where the number is coming from - the condition.

    Jacquie,

Close to Lubbock? Sudan is past Shallowater, past Littlefield, and almost to Muleshoe! I can't imagine he will have any takers. Try him again in a few days.

That machine is extremely heavy. It will be expensive to ship.

Neat lamp rig up on it, isn't it?

Not vintage, but I think she still is smoking the good stuff. http://knoxville.craigslist.org/art/2924816069.html

Quick Google search shows a (really) brand new Brother XL 2600i for $80, which is $50 less than a (used) "brand new" one! WHAT???! I can't believe this one keeps showing up!

The wood treadle base looks similar to the 1941 Singer 15 Sphinx that I purchased in March. I believe someone commented that it could have been mfg for export or could have been for school use.

NOW, before you click on this link, set down the drink, swallow anything that is in your mouth, shut the door so you won't wake the kids, etc....
and sit down so you won't hurt yourself when you faint or die laughing

He's charging $3,000 because it is memorabilia? Ok, he has smoked all the good stuff, the mediocre stuff, and the crap stuff and has drank everything in the house. . ..

Not a Singer but a Domestic according to pics of the manual. Believe it or not, yeah I am a little crazy, but I would offer $75 for both. I do have some irons that may fit the separate cabinet. Luckily Santa Cruz is way to far away from me. Hmmm, son lives in San Jose. Nope, gotta stop this. I have enough projects to last me till I pass.

From the looks of it, the 4th picture which shows the table in the overgrown grass is where it has sat for many, many moons!!!
