yup something creative. My sister has one like it - I want one, too. When can I pick it up? I'm available tomorrow morning after 5 am... Is it heavy? Does it have an owners manual?

my favorite goofy "anti-spam" trick is when the person says something clever sounding like "put Viking in the reply so I know you are not a spammer" and then they have "Viking" in the title so any "reply" will put that in the title anyway....

I think that I might have replied that I am home 24/7/365 along with my trusty 45 and pit bull.
You can answer from another (temp.) email address so you aren't getting the BS back from them.

LOL! that would have been good.

I use my internet provider's email address. They can filter the spam for me. It hasn't actually been too bad, so their filters are good. Actually, they're overly aggressive and have a tenancy to filter the stuff I want too, which is why I don't use it for anything important. I used to answer from my archaic arcane address, but then I realised that the information you have to give to register a domain gave people "smart" enough to look it up the ability to show up at my house whenever they wanted. I nixxed that pretty quickly.

I put "If you can see this ad, the item is still available", and I still get people that ask if it is still available.

I generally respond to the "still available?" emails if there is some substance to the email.

The response I get the most of is some generic response with a bunch of nonsense, and a request to respond with my real email address so that they can discuss the item with me. Those are instantly trashed.

That one made me snort! I love the 'Make an offer' button on it too... How about $60 for all three?

For that price, you should get all 3 AND the lovely tool chest behind them, including the full stock of tools. Wouldn't you think that someone would at least run a damp rag over the cases to remove the first 29 layers of dust?

A walking foot for a Kenmore machine:
It's the description I love:
"helps fabric feel more smoothly with materials such as, lawn, knit, vinyl, or leather"

It'll help my lawn feel better? I need one of these!
