I especially love the posing by the tree, pickaxe atop the table.

Here is another one - nice machine and all - but read about how rare the bobbins are - and this one comes with 8 so you'd better jump on it! http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hn...013293433.html

Here is a pic of the 2 bobbins and the bobbin case that came with my 115. The one on the left is a wee bit different but works. Regular 15 bobbins will not work as the height of the 115 bobbin is shorter. I think I need one of those caliper thingys for my tool box to take exact measurements.
The 115 uses bobbins that share with the 20U, and the Juki TL98E/Q/Other various letters and many of the 9" machines people are putting on the short arm quilting frames, which means they're still very available. The part number is 55623S or 55623, I don't know what the difference is, I've seen them referred to both ways. THe ones I bought for the 115 and use in the Juki are the 55623S ones.
I know that sewing parts online has them, and Jenny (SC) calls them L Type bobbins and has them as well. SC is a lot cheaper than SPO too.

I checked, and the bobbin for my older viking is the same size as the 115 -though it has slightly rounded sides. I don't have a 115 up and running to see if it would work, but it fits into the case just fine. The 15 bobbins is quite a bit taller. Good to know all this, as I've ended up with three 115's. Now I've got to sort through my bobbin pile and see how many I have for the 115.

Thanks for the bobbin info Tammi. That reminded me that I had a whole plastic bobbin box full of bobbins, 21 total, that came with a vintage Kenmore. Dug it out and I had identified the bobbins as older Viking bobbins. Whoo Hooo. Happy Dance here!!!

Happy to help!
I'm posting the links to both of the sites I mentioned above. The SPO link shows change up numbers (to cross reference with the Viking part number for instance) as well as an incomplete list of machines that use the bobbin, and the SC link shows a different list of machines supported, including some viking machines. This was part of the fun I went through when I was looking for bobbins for the 115

Interestingly, I've been told the Pfaff 6122 I have here can use L type bobbins, so I wonder if I don't have to be so careful with the Pfaff and Juki Bobbins that often end up side by side and confuse me.

Hi all,
Another seller that knows their merchandise. Look at this unusual 15-91 Featherweight in Minneapolis. Is it $600 due to its rarity?
