I'd probably keep it also, but for most folks, it is just an impractical piece of furniture that can't be used for anything due to the coffin top.

Not sure I would use olive oil on it either.

I had wondered about the olive oil on the wood because it can become rancid. The Howard's stuff would seem to be a better choice for me.
I also would keep that beautiful sewing machine but then I collect them.

So let me get this straight: You lied to me (it's new, well not really)? you don't know what it does? And you don't have it? (I will get it later on) and I'm reasonably sure no one on this continent writes a phone number that way.
