OK, here's the link for whoever wants to see it. It's the head only, no treadle at this price. They have one but not the original. Anyway, not bad looking. Wish it was at least in the Western U.S.!!!!

At least this one has the spool canister! It is a good price too, but she does not ship!

Janice,

Yes, I am and I wouldn't mind finding a 230, but Bakersfield is a very long trip for me!

You know, I always use Singer Lubricant. It is made for sewing machines. I have had very good luck with that lubricant. The stuff comes in a small tube and most sewing shops sell it.

I think Sew-Classic carries both but I get it at my local bicycle shop.

Nancy,

to the best of my knowledge the only significant difference is the -20 has a larger bobbin and bobbin case that the -15. they were both manufactured during the same time frames. No need to woryy.

My 31-20 is from 1925, but in much better shape than the 31-15. Now tell me about the bobbins? What is the difference? As you can tell, I haven't played with either yet!

Nancy,

These needles are all the same except for the scarf area. Consider them interchangeable.
