Glass slipper
Thanks to Cathy(Mizkaki) and her kind generosity My WW8 now has a beautiful glass slipper to show off instead of her old everyday shoe.
Thanks again Cathy.

Miriam,
Needlebar.org is a great resource.
There is a Yahoo group: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Sewing...hines/messages
The Smithsonian collection: http://www.sil.si.edu/DigitalCollect...wing-Machines/
http://leatherworker.net/forum/ search for sewing machine discussions
Bob Kovar at http://www.tolindsewmach.com/
These should get you going.

Well, I finally had a chance to clean up, although, this machine was clean as a whistle already, my Pfaff 360 from 1965! I purchased this machine a couple weeks ago off of Craigslist, but had not played with it at all. I needed a machine to take to a sewing social last night to do some FM work. I took the 360 on Candace's recommendation!
I loved using this machine to FM the table runner it is sitting on! It did an awesome job! I also got the case, no attachments with this baby! The bed extension drops down to make the machine a free arm.

Oh my yes Wilbur now has a LIFE - DD feels run over by a truck - he is making up for lost time. He can do about any animal imitation including moving like the animal and the sounds. He is talking in complete sentences now, he knows his numbers, colors, alphabet, etc and can sing in a very high falsetto just about anything he hears once - he's eating and using the potty with some success. Baby Walter is just trying to keep up...

Ok Miriam, stop playing with the Avator! First you take off the photo of you and your DH, put the little redhead on there, then change to both the redheads - now nothing? Come on Miriam, I can't keep up! Now a bobbin assembly? You remind me of my 4 year old GS, who is always changing the people on our Wii game! Hehehehehehe! Well, you did give me a smile this morning - I needed that!

OK, Singer Model 66 SN AC469748 recently found totally frozen is now making perfect stitches. I should get a base built today. Now that I have a working machine I can start ordering and making parts to build the quilting frame. My goal is to finish the project while I am off for Thanksgiving. I want to upgrade to a 31 class machine when I find one so I am going to build the frame with this in mind. I will post a picture when I have it all set up.
I started this project for my wife, I think I am more interested in it than she is now!
