I think I’ve seen one like it before, but I can’t remember where.

It’s not from a Chrysler Kenmore 120.xxx machine is it? My 120.491 is buried so deep in storage that I can’t get to it easily to check it.

CD in Oklahoma

I'm having exactly the same problem! I'm wondering though if I came by the one I saw in the same way Steve did and didn't identify it

ETA: I keep rolling back to a national machine I once had here but I could swear that bobbin case looked even more different still.

Yes, I know what it fits, it's a rather uncommon one - but not an uncommon company. I was looking for a picture and could not find one so I'll grab my camera and go take one.

Besides, I have to go put the bobbin case back too!

OK - here it is. This is an early New Home rotary machine.

the back is different, but I believe that is just an age thing - this one is an older style.

This is a later New Home - before Free took control. This one is very similar to the Singer 15 and takes taht style bobbin case.

This one is from after Free too control, and it takes the same bobbin case as other Free rotary machines of that era.

I only have a newer National Rotary, and while the bobbin case is sort of similar, the big difference is the bobbin has a rather large hole in the middle.

I won't be getting my early National Rotary until later the spring, but we could have Joe go look at teh bobbin case to see what it looks like. (that is the Damascus Grand).

in fact it does. Along with a "Household" branded bed hemmer, and a few other assorted things that were NOT for the White VS1 that they came with.

I will post a shot tonight or tomorrow of the other "free to good home" stuff

hehehe! I keep getting closer to deciding that really nice, old set of White attachments may need to head west. I think it belongs to a White VS1 machine anyway. This is the one that the box says "White is King" on the front. I kind of hate to part with it, but I do need to stay focused and NOT start collecting the really old stuff.

Maybe I'll get motivated to go through my boxes this weekend - I've got to get the stuff for Jon packed up too -

I forgot to share this yesterday. I went to Niles, CA on Saturday to prowl the antique shops. I found another cool 1895 Oilier (I have 4 now, and am collecting enough for each machine to have one) but then I found this beastie. (sitting next to the standard sized oilier i had just found)

once I unclipped it (the clip is missing from the other side) and removed the cover, I discovered this!

Too Cool!!
