I do check CL and local GW daily. Ebay not so often.

That's a great idea for a business, or an extension of CL! Ebay has the ability to email you daily with search results, but wouldn't it be better if the seller knows that there are people looking for their item (and maybe how much they're willing to pay)?

I love this tread, as I have sent letters to sellers underpricing their Rocketeers and 201s etc. They have no idea what they have, so I've emailed them and told them how great their machines are and they should try to get at least their asking price.

On the other hand, I wont' bother with overpriced sellers. I look at them like they're crazy and there's no point in talking with a crazy person.

And in my area, there is no getting a deal or the price lowered cause there's pieces missing on antique machines. They sell due to its decorative display value than for sewing. Its infuriating.
