Looks like just a straight stitch foot to me.

There's an old black tin full of accesories for a New Home at one of the antique stores nearby...I think they were asking 35 bucks for it tho...(the tin says "New Home"..that's how I knew what they were! :lol: )

That is the Greist style foot used on antique machines - it didn't last long. It cannot be adapted to a machine that doesn't use that style mount. It is the standard foot (straight stitch center needle) as those machines didn't have any other stitches.

If you wanted a zigzag stitch you bought their zigzag attachment that moved the fabric left and right. :-)
