There are bases made upon which the machines sit, that have no pins. This one had a bolt on the bottom.
Where is the bolt? Does it keep the head fastened to the base? I am trying to envision the bolt on the bottom. Or are you referring to the little screwed on toggle things that keep a hinged head fastend on the non-hinged side?

Mine has a hole in the front of the base at the edge of where the pillar of the machine is and the cabinet had a threaded piece of metal that a bolt screwed into through it. When i make the base i’ll put that in there too.
Edit: whoops you werent asking me were you

I painted the bracket and now it’s drying. I had everything on the machine earlier and it works! I had to tweak a couple things but now it should be good

I got the bracket painted and everything fits. I decided to glue the crank to the bracket in addition to the screw i had in it cause it was pivoting and jamming up no matter how much i tightened it. And i need to grind it down a tiny bit more for better clearance with the handwheel but that can wait. The point is, it WORKS
Finally
I’ll post a picture when the glue dries and i get it back on the machine

I think I’ll remake the blue piece in steel and have it be forked so it can hold onto one of the spokes instead of moving between two of them. I had planned to make the bracket from steel too but the plastic one was easier and it works well. Plus I spent so long trying to get the paint right on it :P
