Tammi,

That mantra is not working for me either. last Monday I brought home two more machines. BUT I did have a good reason for one of them (a tan Featherweight), as I didn't have one of those yet. VBG

Nope not working for me either. I have been looking. The Western Washington fair is in progress in my neck of the woods. I just might check out the Fair specials at the local Sewing Machine store. I am sure that I will have sticker shock when I am done.

Oh well, of course! Certain exceptions have to be made. I've got a line on a "super hard to find" Singer badge,... I will make an exception for that one too.

Oh! No doubt on the sticker shock. The "lowest priced" sewing / embroidery machine I can find new is $500, the lowest priced one I'd buy is double that, and the most reasonable used one is $1200, so I'm safe for the moment.

I would have to do a bunch more research anyway before I felt comfortable buying one.
