Morning Y'all! Just wanted to thank the person that recommended the Dollar Tree Doodle Pad for paper piecing. It works great! I went to J's specially to purchase it and they were of course, out. Then I went to Dollar Tree and purchased 2 9 x 12 pads. Cut them down and they run thru the printer fine. Of course, I have to hand feed them one at a time but I had to do that with the other paper also. Hope everyone's stars are coming along. I know there are only a few of us who post. But if you're behind, never fear. There are some easy ones and some difficult ones. Don't let the difficult ones, bog you down. Have a great day y'all. It's Guild day here so I'm looking forward to Guild and lunch with friends.

Here's my Indiana. I'm a little behind but will try to catch up before too long. The colors are a lot brighter than in the picture. I don't know why the looked so washed out. I didn't use the flash.

Ooh I like that--doesn't look washed out at all. I love all the blocks yinz (Pittsburghese for y'all) have posted. Here are my Kentucky & Kansas. Kansas makes me nervous--I want to straighten it up, looks crooked.

Barb--thank you for posting the blocks for the month! It is a big help!! The last couple months have been pretty hectic around here. I didn't sew for nearly 6 weeks...which was really strange when I had been sewing at least 2-3 days a week!!
I keep watching everyone's blocks and you're all doing a great job!! I am hoping to get a couple done during the month of May. I am debating if I want to just jump in where you're at or back at the beginning...guess I'll have to wait and see once I pull my box of fabrics out...

And when I think the blocks can't get any better.....Shazam! They do. My hubby has always been the one who could view something and see what it would be like in other colors or changed. Not so much for myself.....I need picture references and typically use the same colors that I saw the original quilt made with because that is why I liked it to begin with.
So......I hope you ladies don't mind, but I am saving a lot of the pictures of your blocks to get a head start on what I hope will be a 2015 Stars project. Even though I am hip deep in Judy Niemeyer, I am starting the search through my extensive stash to get a head start for this project. I love how KalamaQuilts put hers together. I would never have thought of her wonderful design in a million years. She has inspired me to be much more creative, as have so many of you. I am in complete admiration of all your efforts! I find I monitor this thread every day just to see what you can come up with next. And, it's always amazing and beautiful!`
