Elisabrat's Medallion Style Quilt Along!
#513
Whitepine, I'm like you. I can sew all this together, but when it comes to quilting? I'm lost. I've done a few lap quilts with tying them. I did one of the Train quilts on here by just using the wavy stitch up and down a long the seams. Not much of a quilt quilter

The 1st medallion finished at 40" square. I think I will send it to my LAQuilter. Her experience always help me add a special finish.
Sewing #2 center now. Flowers, thanks to a package from my Sectret Pal with pansy fabric. This Board is so much fun!
I have to try the hourglasses!

I'm really enjoying this quilt along and following everyone's beautiful medallion quilts as well as the discussions. Here is an update on where my Medallion is.

Not too much resewing.. mostly I have accidently turned blocks from the design wall to the sewing machine when I'm distracted.

I love that ribbon border. Haven't totally given up on using it for one of my rounds. I'm just as excited as you about the Feb. round. I even input what I have done so far into EQ so I can audition the possibilities. The whole medallion style is making me rethink the design process. It is really nice not to contemplate making a lot of just one or two blocks.
