I am very surprised that you got your block already Jeanie. I only mailed it on Tuesday of this week! I hope you like it.
I am so sorry to read about Bram, Anael. I'm sending good thoughts to you and your family.
I am still really sick, just can't shake this infection. I am going to pull it together for Thanksgiving as the grand kids are really into it and I can't blow them off.
OK regarding the FMQ I found that practising loop de loops really helped me get the idea of curves. If you slow your hands down a little while going around the curves, it keeps the stitching even.
Sorry I can't address you all individually but I am going back to rest up a bit before I put the finishing touches on dessert and then head over for turkey.
Happy Thanksgiving, QuiltE !!!!

And a Happy Thanksgiving to you, too, JanieW!!
The bad news ... you're still crappo How horrible.
The good news ... you didn't have to prepare all the feast!!!
And the really good news ... the Grands will help you forget all about it for a few hours!
Have a special day with one and all!!!

Anael...so sorry to hear about Bram. How are you doing? What is the latest update on your health? Apple pudding looks good. I did make a pan if applesauce yesterday that we can have with it.
Jeanie/Jan....the new MB fits in perfectly. Since the ice is broken for this month, I'll get mine in the mail this week.
Now to address the elephant in the room....I realize that everything that we post on line can be found if someone is really looking for it. I do try to keep a pretty low profile because of that and hardly post any pictures on FB so when I found mine here, it freaked me out. QNS and I have spoken about it and worked the situation out so no one has to tip toe around. She didn't post the picture with any malice or ill will and I may have overreacted.
So moving on....I have the scrappy top all ready for borders and really like it and am about half done attaching the borders to my A4A quilt. I love how it is turning out. I'm hoping to enter it in a quilt show this next spring. I'll post pictures when the borders are on.
Bonnie Hunter mystery quilt....I'm such a sucker for mystery quilts. Jeanie, please let me know when she posts the fabric requirements. I am getting some finishes and have only 2 BOMs scheduled to start in January so maybe.
I'm off to make black raspberry jelly with a friend. Probably no quilting today. Have a good one!

Dreary, rainy day here this morning...great day for quilting! About time to get kids up for school and then heading to the clubhouse. My retreat is just 2 days away. My BF and I are shop hopping our way to the retreat...4-5 shops. I am hoping to find background fabric for my DJ quilt (the one using the squares). I also need to find a couple FQs for my last few MBs.
Hope everyone has a great day! Maybe by the end of it I will have a quilt (before borders) to show you...I am close to done quilting the rows.
