Here Comes the Mother of the Groom!!!!!!!
You're almost ready..... oops ... no shoes yet .... better find something nice and low and comfy there too!
Now to get the FOG his wedding duds! (love that acronym ... you can start calling him that!)
Is the wedding going to be at home on the farm?
Honchey ... you;ve been busy! Have a good time in the south! I'm sure the kids will make out just find for Easter.

QNS, thinking of you today and praying everything goes well. And Carrie, hope those miserable migraines come to an end.
Anne, have fun in NC but also take care of that knee. Maybe sitting (and winning!!) at Bingo would be a good thing. Love the fabric you're using in your projects.
Ggal, you've been sending us some nice weather, please continue.
I've been QAYG my SYE blocks. I'm having trouble coming up with quilting designs for each block. I'm a minimalist quilter and I don't think these need a lot of quilting anyhow. So many seams and I think the focus of this quilt is the blocks, not the quilting.
Enjoy your day everyone. Spring is here!

Dublb, isn't it amazing what a few cuts to a block will create...I love that idea... There's also a tute here on the board about a D4P with a twist that resembles the irish chain pattern that has me interested..
Jan, stitch in the ditch is the simplest to do when the block is the focus not the quilting.. something on the order of a spider web design staying close to the seams would be nice..hmmph, look at me giving advice on quilting..all I can do is straight stitching!!!...
Have to go now..break time is over, need to finish up gathering my stuff...

Thanks, Anael. My husband puts the saying in a different way, telling me to get my head out of my butt LOL.
Anne, thanks for the quilting suggestions. I finished quilting all my SYE blocks--Yay Me!!!!!!! I used different colored thread for each block. I felt like a "big girl"--I did more than loops & SITD. I actually did some designs. Now to put it together and quilt the diamonds and borders.

The word is official from the retina specialist: I am going blind. The swollen Optic Nerve is one they know little about....how to treat it, how long it will take me to go blind, etc. They are going to try a few things but there is little hope. Meanwhile, I can sew, read, work the computer, etc., and enjoy what I have for now....so blotchy vision will be what it is until its all gone. So I guess I had better sew very gast to finish the projects I have going and to use up my stash.
One thing I have learned in life, when one door closes another one opens. I believe there will be blessings in the middle of all the problems...although they cannot be seen right now. What will be, will be.
