Hi Everyone, Good News!!! Laurie responded to my email...I might be getting some info in April about her new book..That would give everyone time to get their house in order and time to pack for the new Trail Ride.. That would be wonderful.. She said to say 'Hi" to
everyone here...

I went thru a whole corner of stuff over the last few days and found pieces from my scrap bags and I think I would like to do my "RR" with them...they are kind of funky and I don't know which side is the right side... I have enough for 12 pinwheels or 24 ? if I cut the triangles in half..there are some squares also...Bathroom in NC is calling to them!!! right colors...

Hi Ok, So nice to hear you had a good time with your DSis...You deserve a good rest....

Here is a photo of the fabric pieces I mentioned earlier..They are really intriguing me...the 48 triangles measure 5" on the short side and the squares are 2.5"..there are 32 of them..I think the triangle would be more effective if I cut them in half so they would be better utilized with the squares...Help!

I checked out the potato site and after they are frozen, there's nothing about how to finish them???

Suggestion: use one of the main color in blend fabric, making each triangle a block....using the squares with a blend fabric and make squares that off set the five inch triangle block...love the possibilities of the fabric. It is endless..

Thanks OK for the site. I did print it out to use in the future. Sounds like a quick way to make potato fries ahead of time. or sweet potato fries.

Please look at the Mariner Compass quilt being quilted by Feline F. in the picture section, I don't know how to post it like OK does, but I know the quilter and she is an excellent one in color, design and 'doing' it in a timely fashion much like Mirabelle. Mirabelle's quilt on Butterflies is beautiful adn breathe taking as well.

Just thought I would say "hi"...

Happy belated Birthday QNS!!

Exciting news that Laurie might be giving us a sneak peek in April...maybe just fabric needed, but hey, it's something to look forward too. By April I should have more time to sew...at least I hope so!! By then I should have my 50 Stars quilts finished, plus 2 other quilts (one for my nephew that just needs to be quilted now; one for my niece...planning to get this cut and ready to sew at my retreat in a couple weeks). No getting 1 quilt done a month these days!
