Managed to get week 40 done, however have to wait till my machine gets repaired to do the stitch to applique them in place thats the stitch that doesn´t seem to want to work at the moment on my machine.

Machine went to the bottom of the queau again as I had to pay out for more tablets for my dog 53€ for 100 tablets. geesh wouldn´t pay that for myself.

Sew Sorry about your machine, Elle. I know we must take care of our critters first! I do the same with mine. I give my little rat terrier pills for her arthritis that cost more than a dollar a day!
BTW, I DID drop my FW off today to get some attention. She sews fine most of the time, but gets contrary and catches a thread in the bobbin case way too often. Sew, she is spending sme time away from home, boohoo.

Its too bad about your machines..Elle and Sharon. Hope they can get well soon. I just hate it when any of my stuff isn't working right!

Elle, your blocks are beautiful! Just don't forget to do the stitches when your machine gets fixed (thats what I would do probably:roll:)

Here is the redone F5 for me. I thought that I could add blocks to my original one..I messed with it a couple of evenings and decided that I actually didn't like it. So I started over and sewed the entire block by hand. This is the only block that I've done that way in the whole quilt ..so far.

F5- new block

Patti, sometimes its the only way to do these blocks. I think sometimes its just easier and the block lays better. Jane did everything by hand I believe so thats probably the reason some of the blocks are so difficult by machine.

I love your block Patti looks good. I will try to remember and go back. I am sure I will because they definately don´t look finished.
