Hello Again,

Here is where we will be posting our pictures of the December 2011 House BOM. I am still trying to post mine, so I hope it comes through!! :D I made my block look like a Gingerbread House. I am so anxious to see what the rest of you ladies will do with your pattern. Good Luck!!

Hi Everyone,

I appreciate all of your nice comments on my Gingerbread House. It was fun to make. The little Renideer, candy canes & gingerbread men are button's. I went to the Black Friday sale at Jo-Ann's & had a blast finding all of the cute button's. I just wanted to make something fun to add to my quilt. I know everyone will have fun too, making their December block.

Here are all 12 blocks, December's block is the purple one in lower right hand corner.

OMGoodness, they are all so darling together. Please show us again when you get them made into a quilt. I have two rows of my house blocks put together so far, but need to get busy & get the rest of them done. This is just way to fun!!

I will post a pic when finished, if I can figure out how to finish it...lol! I was new to quilting when I began this BOM and didn't know much about fabrics, colors, etc. I think maybe I can be a little more prepared for the 2012 BOM. I've really enjoyed learning to paper piece, applique, etc and look forward to participating in more BOM's.

All these blocks are just wonderful, especially the gingerbread house. Would love to see all the pictures of the finished houses. Will there be a place to go for this.
I only wish I had joined the QB in time to do the BOM houses or at least get the patterns. Looking to what's up in 2012.

Sulabug...loved this theme...Hses...my imagination with each one went wild. Here's my interpetation of this mth's hse. Now I'm only behind by 2...Ohio School Hse and Castle, I'll be pondering what I can do with one of those tomorrow.

Everyone's blocks are looking beautiful! Can't wait to see more and, especially, can't wait to see everyone's quilt go together. This has been a learning experience for me and a lot of fun...looking forward to 2012 BOM.

Love all the Christmas blocks so far. There won't be any snow in my Aussie block for Christmas though.:D
