Got a call from DGD in NC--"Hi Grandma Cow, can I come to stay at your house?" Of course I said yes and squeals of delight from a 3 yo are heard over the phone. They will be driving in on Wed, I get home on Thurs, and now nephew from MD is driving cross country and will be here Thurs afternoon for a quick visit. When it rains it pours! A shower of family blessings for sure. Okay bedrooms to get ready!

Jan and Jeanie love both of your mystery blocks. Well done in color and block. I know QuiltE is away for the weekend, but she posted a farmer and his wife as one of her blocks...and then send me a block of that for our anniversary. Since she had Janie as mystery pardner for this month... its not my mystery block, but I am excited anyhow. And there was a bit of Canada Green $$ in the anniversary card as well. I am thinking the Bonus Blocks might be combined with the mystery blocks...for a quilt for my queen sized bed....it just might work!!

Mirabelle--your butterflies are beautiful. Can't wait to see how you do the borders.

I found the perfect fabrics for my BBs today at work. I am using 2 different fabrics to sash the blocks. Just need to finish the quilt started at my retreat and the BB quilt is next on the list! I am excited to get to work on it.

Ok, I just couldnt STAND the fact that QuiltE had her blocks done and I didnt! so true to my nature I got jealous of her and pulled out the fabric I needed for three more blocks and got it DONE! I spent an entire day starching and pressing :D I now have 90 completed blocks :D It feels AMAZING :D thanks QuiltE!!!!
