I've worked a little on the blocks, and happy to hear I'm not the only one who has plunked Peter/Paul back into the scrap box! I've looked at a few other options, but haven't made an alternate choice yet. Thanks for sharing your pictures everyone, the blocks are beautiful!

If it makes you all feel better I will post my Peter and Paul block. I'm not happy with it but it's in the quilt and there it will stay. Makes me feel humble again

I am now ready to start September blocks. And it is still September!

I made the log cabin block because I was frustrated with the orange peel. I tried the pieced version (several times) After sewing and unsewing three or four times, I needed something that I could manage easily. Then I returned to the orange peel and appliqued it. Not sure if I like the coral in the hunter's star, may redo that one.

Thanks Anael. I thought I had just missed some somewhere and they would get done at the end. We all have senior moments, including those who are not seniors!
