This is what I got for my cat, she loves it.
Also, if it EVER breaks, Hammacher Schlemmer will replace it free of cost.

never had a cat, so not sure how you would handle that..except for the spray bottle. seems like that would work!

Spray bottles work great Otis first met the spray at Christmas when she thought the tree would be great for climbing. Then the counter, then sleeping on the quilt on the LA, then sleeping on my ironing board, then, well you get the idea. She does none of this now. Some times I don't even move the bottle just say spray, She's not dumb! LOL

Get her a playmate, she just wants someone/something to play with.

Hope the spray bottle works for you. My cat would get sprayed and he would look around with curiosity with a look on his face that said "interesting...I don't recall them calling for rain..." and then he would go right back to what he was doing. LOL! :)
Good luck with your kitlen! Hope her furry little paws stay safe. :)

kitties especially don't like a citrus smell. to keep mine out of the plant dirt, i lay orange/lemon peels on the soil, & they don't bother them anymore. this would probably work if you rubbed lemon juice near your machine/table.
