Sometimes I don't post if there are 5 or so pages.. and sometimes I dont post because I dont have an answer to a question that is asked or as stated by others its not a subject I understand or maybe holds little interest? Then there are days I try to respond to as many as possible. I don't think its a respond only if its written by.. honestly I don't. I never look at who posted it just what the subject is. I am sorry you felt ignored. I wouldnt want anyone to feel that way and will see that I hit the posts more often that have few responses.

Please don't feel ignored! i alwasy feel bad when i don't catch all the new posters..introducing themselves! I post a picture once, and no comments on a board..and i think what happens is, if you are replying from your email, you don't see all the other posts..and may miss a post or a picture.
I am glad your here! I am glad to be here too! Kim

I have been real busy so I don't have time to reply to many, heck don't even have time to read many these days. I'm ready for a vacation!

With the great number of people we have now, many posts get pushed to the second or third page more quickly than they did a year ago. That can be a factor too. People may think that anything that is not on the first page is an older post.....

At times I feel ignored ---- but not on here! I have found that if someone has a question there is a reply rather quickly compared to other boards (non quilt related) over the years.

    I love it here.

I do find that there is a lot of conversations going on and I don't get to all of them and don't post something to all of them. But I do know that you wonderful people are 'listening' and watching and we are all learning.

Keep up the good work and please don't let this get into a problem area. It's friendly here and I like it.

P.S. If I'm not on much for the next couple of days it's because of work schedule.

    Me, too!

I've felt the same ignored or that my idea was a bummer cause no one said anything. I chalk it up to all of us being in the middle of a WIP....speaking of which, I need to get moving on my 15.

I know that I don't post to every topic, but I try to pick one or two here & there. I'm also guilty of not reading every comment that goes w/posts... so many topics, so many quilts! I wanna do it all, see it all but alas I'd never leave the computer *giggles*

When I post to a thread, I generally try to refer my comment to the original question asked. I feel the thread belongs to the person who started it and try very hard not to lead the thread off on a tangent.

If I have no answer to the question, I generally don't comment. I just assume the person who started the thread is not going to want to read dozens of "I don't know" answers.

If a thread is a "Look at my new quilt" type of thing, I do try to say something positive about the project.

I never really feel ignored on this board. I've never started a thread that got no responses. I don't really expect 100's of answers to my questions. Generally, any one of the dozens of expert quilters on this board can answer my question and send me on my way.

I have no complaints about this board. The people are all wonderful and the information is incredible. I just wish a few of you were closer to me!

With more than 11,000 members here, it's impossible to read every single thread every single day. I'm sure no one intentionally overlooks any thread, there's just so much to read here!

Keep quilting, keep posting and definitely join the chat room!

    Me, neither!

I too wish we had community quilters as part of this board. I've met one lady from a neighboring town, one I'm going to meet soon, BUT none here in my town from this board. When I first came here I felt ignored but that didn't last a month. This is the best group I've ever been in. I learn more here than I do with guild, trust me.

    Hugs
