Default Motel/Hotel TV Remote Controls - Yuck!

I found a good way to eliminate touching those remote controls. I put it in a zip lock bag! The remote is totally encased in clean plastic and I can see all the buttons and all buttons are easily pushed! I'm sure I'm not the first one to do this but I have never seen this tip anywhere and I hope I always remember to travel with zip lock bags in the future!!! It sure beats using slippery tissues to pick up the remote.

Great idea! I'll remember it the next time I am in a hotel.

I always have anti-bacterial wipes on hand. I am immune-compromised because of the meds I take for Lupus. I hate having to be so vigilant....but I just can't afford to pick up a bug...I get laid low for weeks.

I also always wipe down the remote, faucets, door knobs and anything else I will be touching in a hotel room with the anti-bacterial wipes. Never did this until I started watching CSI years ago. LOL

We always stay at Best Western and they now have cleanable remote controls.
