I've noticed that the bathroom tissue rolls are getting narrower and narrower.

The narrowest that we came across was only 3 1/2 inches wide! I took a piece back with me so I could measure it.

    Yikes!

I realized that all the name brands are smaller, anywheres from 1/4 to 1/2 inch. They don't fit the same on the TP holder; lots of the holder showing. Same price, less product. It's happened with ice cream and several items. It's that all important bottom line profit to blame.

That's funny, I've never notice a difference in toilet paper. All I care about is that it's soft.

As long as it's wider than however many fingers wide I need to get the job done that is what counts. lol I also don't want sand paper (my mom goes for frugal brand and boy does that chafe) or the super fluffy stuff that leaves lint everywhere.
