I'm there with the 'everything is shrinking but me' gals, LOL!

One other thing I've noticed is the the paper seems to roll off the dispenser much too easily, ends up touching the floor. So not only are we paying more for less paper that is thinner but we end up using more of it. We don't seem to be winning the toilet paper war. May in Jersey

I think they've done it just maybe a 1/4" at a time so that we were taken into the world of shrinking toilet paper so gradually that we didn't notice until it was REALLY noticable. Kind of like old age--when you wake up one morning wondering who that old woman in the mirror is then realize it's not your mother, it's YOU!

OK, ladies, life is too weird. I was reading this post about a week back and commented on my hubby's search for wider TP.

So last week, he comes in VERY excited because he had found wider TP. He thinks this is a solution to the problem so he buys a case. It is some weirdo off brand. Im like OK whatever put it away and I didnt look.

He is correct! It fits the holder perfectly. Solved that world crisis.

....yep only one problem it is single ply and so thin you can see through it. There is NO absorbency. The only thing it would be useful for is to TP somebody's house. So here I am, headed out to the store to buy TP.
