Are all quilters cat lovers, too? Lol! It seems like there are so many cat avatars on here that their must be a connection? What does everyone think? :-D

I think that generally quilters are great people and great people usually have a cat or dog, or both!
|
i think cats have an inner quiltness to them. my darling allie can hide and we won't find her for hours. Just let "mommy" get the scissors out and she is jumping on the table!

My dog never jumped up and helped me but the cat did. :)

Mine is a quilted cat. She sits on the back of the machine while I sew and has been known to bat the thread. She loves batting snd has her own batting bed outside my long arm room. She is very jealous of the long arm because she can't. Sit with me. She sits on every quilt I make. where else can you find such an involved family member!!

My grandmother was a quilter and she also loved cats so I guess it's in my DNA

Where I go, Rudy goes. I am his person. Grew up with dogs but current life style isn't suitable so I have cats. Animals add life to a home. What else can I say?!

I have quilting friend who is extremely allergic to cats. Her only cat is a fabric one.
If I had a cat she couldn't visit me. I don't have a dog either because I travel to much and can't take with me. |
I love my cat and love quilting, but the two do not mix. Bailey loves to eat threads from the edge of fabric, and gets himself sick over it, so i have to keep him out of the quilting room. Poor guy! Our former cat Buddy is in my avatar, and liked to sit on the Christmas tree skirt. Under the tree was his own place, he thought!
