ROTFL! I just went back to my post, and the word is c-l-o-g-s, but is kinda run together and looks like dogs! I have heard that dogs are a chick magnet...at least that is what my DH says....hmmmm maybe I had better walk the dog from now on!

This thread is so much fun! :D I experienced many of these fads from the Can Can slips to the bell bottom pants or the stirrup pants. Those silly slips would scratch my legs something awful but ma made me wear them. The fuller your dress was, the better. And remember the paper dresses that came out for only a short time? I also used the spoolie hair curlers and then later on I used the OJ can for curlers. :D And slept with them in my hair! Such fun topic! Thanks to whomever started it.

Then there was the "Boyfriend Sweater" that was miles too big and kept dripping in dinner plates when you went to your favorite cafe for cherry Cokes and a burger and fries. But you had to wear it to prove you had a boy friend but had to hide it so your mean old father wouldn't see it. (Not me, Grandma raised me and she was far more vicious than a junk yard dog where "those trashy boys" were concerned!!!
You were very lucky (laughter). This gave me a great picture and you definitely had someone who cared!!
