I;m so mad I could spit nails, sometimes my grown children act like they dont have enough sense to come in out of the rain. What a way to start the day.I am overwelmed with christmas projects,my house is a total wreck, cant get caught up,much less get ahead.I would like to just go back to bed and cry. Thanks for giving me someone to fuss and vent to.

The holidays can really be overwhelming. Understand about grown children. Sometimes they don't consider others. Have a cup of your fav beverage and try listing on paper what you need to accomplish. It helps to write it out and not keep it all in your head. And show list to children, maybe they can help?

Tears are healing. They cleanse my mind so I can back up and regroup. Maybe put yourself and your needs first on the list. When I take care of my needs first, some of the other things tend to fall in place. Then I have to decide what are my responsibilities and what responsibilities belong to others.
I hope your day gets better soon.

Let them get wet.....
make yourself a cup of coffee or tea (or me, I like hot cocoa) grab your favorite quilt, curl up and relax... House does not need cleaning today....

yes, adult children consider us as cornerstones in their lives, and it doesn't occur to them that we have their same needs and desires. Sometimes I can feel like the Giving Tree, too.

My children are young but I know that when I get overwhelmed I write everything down and then number them by importance. Then I start on the list and get done what I get done. It helps me focus and get the most important stuff done first. Best of luck. :-)

Oh I am sorry you are having such a rotten start to the day.. I think a SHOPPING TRIP for you is in order.... Manicure, massage, or just a new pair of shoes will help!!! Kids can be awful at times. I have a grown son who is thoughtless most of the time ..... Do something for you today!!!
