Are you sure you aren't at my house? DD had to move out of the dorm yesterday, and yup, everything is here in the floor waiting to be washed/put away. Sigh. Let's go get some chocolate.

I so know what you mean. Sometimes I wonder what happened to my kids I did not raise them that way. Hope your day gets better and take some time for yourself. Hugs.

I think from reading your post that you are just expecting way too much from yourself. Make your list of to do's and then give yourself permission to take some off of your list (maybe even take off a lot!). Ehen we get overwhelmed and stressed, then we can't enjoy the season and sometimes even get sick. Try and make your Christmas a little simpler and enjoy it a whole lot more.

There are many times I let the calls from my grown kids go to voice mail when I see it is them calling. They can be too frustrating for me at times. I don't feel guilty about it either.

AMEN to that -- me, too!!!!! And other people in my life, too. I pay for the phone, I pay for the answering machine, my choice if I want to use it! :-D

I know how you feel. Take a day for yourself and just sit back and chill. A hot cup of herbal tea and a good book will calm your nerves. You need to unwind and then you will feel better. I hope your day is better tomorrow.
