another 2 days of freezing weather--but this weekend is forecast for upper 50's/low 60's and it looks like it really is around the corner. But have to say that we've had the grass growing all winter cause just so little extremely cold weather. Biggest concern is that we've had so little precipitation--no snow, little bit of ice and almost no rain. Not good.

I'm pitching the gardening catalogs as they come in--am determined not to plant a big garden this year cause by the heat of early July I can't stand the heat enough to get out and weed pretty discouraging. So plan to plant my raised beds mostly with zinnias and marigolds and stand back.

My gardens start blooming, the weather is pretty good and great! the hearing the BIRD song!<3<3<3<3

I have daffodil leaves up about 6". Just hope we don't get a cold spell once they bud out. Daffodils blooming always say spring to me.
