We just had about 15 robins pushing each other around to take a bath in our birdbath and eat the birdseed I had put out. I don't often see Robins around here in my part of west central FL, so I expect they might be making their way North. One can only hope you guys up there get some relief from the cold! Wish I had taken a picture, but they were having such a good time that I didn't want to scare the flock away.

Got my first catalog also AND sent out an order for some blueberry bushes today. Have the spot already picked out to plant them in the 'Thumb' of MI. Not much of a winter here so far, rain today, the weather is on a roller-coaster.
Some of the Red Poll finches at my feeder, are turning their summer color.

Started all my flower and veggie seeds last week, I have a small greenhouse in front of a sunny bay window. Growing plants help make these dull, cold days better.

Looking out at several feet of snow, piled here and there, over the garden beds, etc. It will be awhile for us, but thinking gardening gets us through the rest of the winter!

With all the rain coming down in California, I'm not sure, but we might wash away before Spring arrives. I guess it's feast or famine, as we have had a drought for so long here. In any case, I am glad for the rain, but can't wait for Spring to arrive.

Trimmed all my sago palms on Monday & now I see the spring weeds popping up EVERYWHERE! It won't be long for us now. Today's high is suppose to be 87 deg.

I guess I shouldn't tell you, Geri, that I wore sandals to work yesterday?

-3 degrees here in North Dakota. Chill factor of -26 with 50 inches of snow on the ground. I'm afraid we will be waiting longer than 5 Mondays. I am so tired of cold and snow.
