I have heard that there are some people that buy ONLY enough fabric/yarn/whatever for a given project and give away the leftovers.

I am not one of them.

One of my sons has said to me "You are old - what are you going to do with all that - and more importantly, what are we kids going to do with all that when you are gone?"

Frankly, my dears, I don't give a ______.
I hate that attitude that you're old and should just sit on the porch and rock so that someone else doesn't have to do anything when you're gone. Good for you, Bear!

My name is Chris and I am a Quiltaholic. At least when we are "high" on a fabric binge we aren't a danger to others.

Sometimes hobbies are just hobbies. I love to buy fabric and think about what I will make with it. There is just not enough time!

The snobs that think they know better are just ignorant. I doubt they would treat a man with all his fishing "stuff" (boat, tackle, poles, lures) the same.

My kids know I spend a lot but know it's a pleasure to me. They seem to be fine with it. I hope they don't turn on me when it's time to downsize!
