I just purchased a rowenta iron in August, a focus, and returned it to JoAnns in January because it leaked like a sieve. Just remember to save your receipt and box and returning is trouble free. I purchased the iron at 30% off. So if I took a new iron they gave me the same % off. I tried a different model so time will tell. The focus was made in Germany.

I had a lot of problems with the Rowenta travel iron. I have purchased about 4 of them and two of them have been replaced. Some issues with them getting too hot and started to smoke and some issues with terrible leaking. I do love the way it irons and all those wonderful steam holes on the bottom plate. Would be interested if knowing if the situation has been rectified. Thanks for posting your question.
