Default Tip For Sewing With Vinyl

Since I plan to make myself a pocketed over-the-door interfacing holder using vinyl, I was glad to find this tip! 😃

Really cool ideas, and so simple! Now as long as I can remember it for when I need it.....

Great idea. I use a Teflon foot when I sew vinyl and use cash register tape on the bottom (the old fashioned one not the thermal one).

Thanks for sharing this, I usually use Silicone Spray Lubricant, this looks much easier. The spray sometimes chocks me for I have Lung problems. Going to try this today. Joy

Can you post a picture or a link to the pattern for the over the door interfacing holder. I am reorganizing and could use the holder.

Thank you!!! Just as I needed some info, it magically appears in front of me. LOL. I help with Boxer Luv Rescue in Phoenix and was just asked to make some doggie coats (big LOL) from a mesh fabric (something I have never sewn) with vinyl pockets (which I have never sewn) on the sides to put papers in. The pups wear these to events to advertise they are available for adoption.

Got any tips for working with mesh?? (WHERE WAS MY NO BUTTON THAT DAY??) LOL

I thought I knew what the answer would be and it was....bias binding on the edges. This website has instructions for making a mesh beach bag which is sorta similar to what you want to do. http://www.instructables.com/id/How-...-Bag/?ALLSTEPS
