Just curious if you purchase a bsr for the 430 that it would work.

Yes, the BSR works just fine on the 430.

Do you just mean do we like the BSR? I definately do, but I think some people have had mixed results with it.

I never use mine. The starts and stops are not even for me, but I have several friends who just love it. I would take a project into the dealer and try it on an actual quilt of my own to see if it was for me before you spend the money.

You are welcome. My first Bernina was a 440QE which came with the BSR. I never would have been brave enough to even try FMQ'ing if it hadn't been for that. I also have a stitch regulator on my Juki which is on a frame. I still have a lot of practicing to do, but I have had a great time with my first attempts at FMQ'ing. Some folk say the BSR is like training wheels for a bike, it helps you learn and then you can do it with out them....not sure if I will ever take my training wheels off, but we will see ;-)
