Ha-Ha! Can't wait to see it! I'm doing one too, I'm using the "awaitingada" method, so on the last part. It is all put together, and I'm stuffing and sewing the opening shut. Mine is 7across by 9 down, and I'm about to finish the second row. I'm kind of thinking ONLY puff quilt too! LOL!

Years ago my granny made her version of puff quilt, she put 5" squares RST , sewed 3 sides, stuffed and tucked the open end then hand stitched each block to the next. It was a full size scrappy that was happily used by the great grand kids. At the time (not knowing there was another way), I made one of my own (queen) by the time it was done it was supper heavy! If I ever do another I'll make sure 1) I go easier on the stuffing, and 2) only make a lap size!

Sometimes DONE is the best thing to hope for, right? I finished the puffs and put fleece on the back. Let's just say that putting the borders on was quite a challenge. I now understand why most puff quilts have ruffles. Mine does too but not on purpose. lol. Three sides went on OK - albeit a little wonky, but the last one had serious overage. So I decided to just pleat the fabric and sew down the pleats. The little one won't care, and frankly - after all the bloody pin pricks in my fingers, neither do I.
