Umm, I've seen little battery operated small pen sized laser lights at the dollar store with about 6 different tips. There must be a way to rig one up. Has anyone tried to rig one up.

I just saw the machine at the dealer today, and that laser thing really does seem ( seam!) cool. You can also use the pointer to move the needle position and point to where you want to stop.

talked to my Brother dealer yesterday and they think will be in store by mid to late September. The XE will sell in the $8000.00 range. I can'twait. I am retiring soon and planing to look into a mid arm, think this might be the best choice. Think of an 11 inch opening to machine quilt. Can you tell I am excited!!
Oh man, so totlly beyond my range! Hope you love it!

I tried this machine last week at the AQS show here in my town. It was totally awesome. They had a special pricing for the duration of the show. The machine was $4,500(500 off the retail price when it comes out in October ). That special price also included for FREE a $2,000 sewing cabinet (a really nice model that opens up to a huge table top, with drawrers for storage) and the three piece carrying totes (retail about $250). I was SOOOO tempted to reserve one since it was such a good deal,a nd the vendor is two minutes away from where I live. However, I reluctantly decided I was too new at this quilting hobby, and needed to wait awhile.

Anyway, I don't think you'll regret it. There's not much this machine won't do. ENJOY

Every time I think they couldn't possibly make these machines do more, they surprise me.
