Wonder if that would work on anything other than a Brother?

Wow! I wish there were a Dreamweaver in my future! What an innovative machine! Tho' my machine keeps plugging along, and I am in no need of a new one, I would make a large space for a Dreamweaver!

I told DH that every widow in my guild had the top of the line sewing machine and trades in for the newest model as soon as it comes out and I know he didn't want me to wait to be a widow to have one so it just may be my Christmas gift. I want to compare the Dreamweaver to the new Bernina coming out in Oct.

Does any one know where to get a lazer light for any machine as an attachment. Love this!

I don't think it is available as an attachment. I think you could use a laser level behind your machine on the table. It wouldn't get in your way when chain piecing. Right now I'm using this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e5Lh-b45IKY It's so much better then the hard plastic one you have to tape to the machine.

I talked to my Brother dealer yesterday and they think will be in store by mid to late September. The XE will sell in the $8000.00 range. I can'twait. I am retiring soon and planing to look into a mid arm, think this might be the best choice. Think of an 11 inch opening to machine quilt. Can you tell I am excited!!
