I think my template is 6" ish in size too. The one I did previously to the tumbler I posted a photo of last week, was a Christmas themed one. That one was a gift and it also turned out great. I used all Christmas type fabrics in it and it was very cheery.

I too got the template at JoAnn's with the coupon and just started experimenting with a ton of 4" charms I cut. Sewed a few together to get a feel. It will be fun when I can do more with it.

I think I got the idea from this board. Is is a canvas frame with 50% off coupon, covered with warm and natural, simply stapled to the back edge of the frame.

I love this, I use it in the living room and can carry into the sewing room. I used it last Sat for a PP class I taught, as they finish each block it was put on this "wall"
