I have thread all through my house, For some reason when I leave the sewing room, it follows me all through the house, it loves me lol :) I am a magnet. Yes, I am messy when sewing and cutting. it is in the floor but, eventually I will clean it up.

I have a trash can on left side of my chair, a pin cushion/thread catcher on the right. Some make it, most don't.

I throw thread and fabric scraps in a trash can that sits right next to my sewing table. Very few hit the floor.

Great idea to get a long handled roller! My thread catcher really helps, but I still end up with threads on me and on the floor!

The floor of course. Then vacumn them, jam the brushes..give recently retired hubby job security. No other thread collector for me.

I put mine in the pincushion/thread catcher bag I made. I have one sitting next to each machine. I empty them into a gallon size ziplock and add dryer lint. When it's full, I spread the lint/thread along the upper rail of my fence for the birds to make nests with.
