Has anyone ever made a quilted slipcover for furniture?
#1
At a yard sale I bought an half round ottoman that I was going to reupholster. The more I've thought about it, the more I'm thinking I would like to try to make a quilted slipcover for it. I was wondering if anyone has ever made anything like that? If so, I would LOVE to see some pictures. I need some inspiration. I have an idea, but not sure if I can execute my vision! I've seen the pictures on the board of the quilt upholstered furniture- which I loved!-but with 3 kids I will need to be able to remove the cover and be able to wash it. If you have any insight or pictures to share I would love it! Thank you!

I remember the couch and chair pics.. they wer awesome.... an ottoman should be easy to just tack or use a "drawstring " method on the underside to hold everything down.
I'm searching ( garagesales/thrift stores, etc) for a round ottoman for my sewing room...

i have redone chairs & sofas, but sorry, no pix. what i did was make the "skirt" separate with 2" wide elastic, & you could just pull the whole thing off & wash it.
what i would do is go to a shop that sells patterns & look at some that are similar to what you want to do to get ideas OR the library!
