Hi! I've had EQ5 for two years and hardly know how to use it. I have the manuals but sometimes things come up that I don't know what to do and manual isn't clear as what should be done.
One of the other forums, I felt a little weird asking about an older version, when most of the discussion was about the newest version. Nothing was ever said but it was like either keep up with the rest of us or....! I've read lots of comments about the newer versions but figured if I haven't learned how to use the first one, I shouldn't go and get another.
Maybe I'm not the only one whose had some problems and has sort given up trying to figure it the software. So if we could have a section just for EQ, maybe even small groups within it for the different versions, would be so hopefully because we would be working with or helping someone else whose has the same version. Thanks so much, Chris

Here is a LOT of info on EQ5 and don't be afraid or uncomfortable asking specific questions in Main either. It doesn't matter which version we own, feel free to ask :D:D:D

Hi! Amma, I had looked for a discussion on EQ5 but couldn't find anything. Thanks so much for posting this, I never felt anything awkward on this forum at all. I'm so grateful to have it! I will post my question right away! Chris

Also, down at the bottom of the page, below the Quick Reply box on the left side you'll see 'View Tag Cloud' in teal letters. Click on that and you'll go to what used to be called the virtual sections index. One of them is Electric Quilt. Click that and you'll get all the EQ threads that have been put in that grouping. (the direct link is http://www.quiltingboard.com/tags/electric+quilt.html )

Like everything else these days, there are multiple ways to get where you want to go on the board, but that one is pretty straight-forward.
