Does anyone know a source of these 2GB flash. Drives needed for some emb machines......what are the differences, I have seen many at amazon, but the prices vary so much....can someone explain why. Thanks

Office Depot for about $8.00 and if they have them, bet Office Max would have them. Also, check Walmart.

Lots of places have them, including WalMart. If you need a lot, you may be able to get a better price, online.

Must they be only 2GB? Sometimes the 4GBs are easier to find.

Some machines need the 2 GB so there's less memory for the machine to "go through" to get to the designs.

They are getting harder to find since most people want the bigger flash drives for general use.

Our fabric store ordered some just for that reason. You can find them at some office supplies or order online.

Here's a link to Walmart for a quick look:

2g are getting harder to find. Hint: store your designs on larger flash drives (8, 16) , then copy the designs you are going to use to the 2g drive. Use that drive in your machine, when done, delete the 2g drive and use again.
Remember to always back up your drives...don't want to loose anything
