I put all of my designs on an external hard drive back up. I categorize by designer ( Anita Goodesigns, adorable designs, etc) then sub-categories animals, babies, holiday etc. I bought many 2g flash drives in the beginning, but now keep 2 for each machine ready to transfer designs, the rest are in a storage bag. If I am going to travel with my Quattro, I may transfer the designs I want to use to an 8 or 16 g drive and leave the backup at home. BTW, I have a back up of my back up drive. Keep it locked in away at an outside location. Too much invested to loose all my thousands of designs.
